CCAC Public Safety Committee Meeting - Tuesday July 14 @11:00 am

The CCAC Public Safety Committee is meeting with the County Public Works and Transportation Division on Tuesday, July 14 from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon. We'll first meet at the Sea Shanty at Ocean and Third to talk about that busy intersection. We'll also cover crosswalks on Pacific, ADA parking across from Mosey's on Front, and anything else, time permitting. Please invite anyone else who is interested.

January's CCAC meeting will be Wednesday, January 7th @ 7:00 pm (HYBRID)

The next Cayucos Citizens' Advisory Council Meeting (CCAC) will be Wednesday, January 7, 2026 , at 7 p.m. at the Cayucos Landing (Veterans Hall) and via Zoom.


The three main additions to the agenda are:  

1.  Laura Holder will speak regarding the proposed 25% water rate increase for CSA10A.  THIS HAS BEEN MOVED TO THE FEBRUARY MEETING.
2.  Election Applications for CCAC Representatives for Precincts 2, 4, 6, and 8 are due by the end of the meeting.  You may turn your application in at the meeting or you may email it or mail it. 
3.  The CCAC will vote on the new Advisory Council Bylaws.

December's CCAC meeting will be this Wednesday, December 3rd at 7:00 p.m - HYBRID

The Cayucos Citizens' Advisory Council will be meeting this Wednesday, December 3rd at 7:00 p.m. and also via Zoom.  We will be meeting at the Cayucos Landing (also known as the Veterans Hall). Below you will the agenda with links to the Zoom and to all of the documents that you will need for the meeting.


ELECTIONS for Precincts 2, 4, 6 & 8

Precincts 2, 4, 6, and 8 are electing representatives for a two-year term starting April 2026.  Applications are due at the close of our January 7, 2026 CCAC meeting.  Our Council meets the first Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. in Cayucos Landing and via Zoom. Our job is to advise the County Board of Supervisors on the needs of Cayucos. We also offer advice and guidance on various construction projects planned for the community.


  • Precincts with upcoming elections are the even-numbered precincts #2, 4, 6, and 8

  • Each precinct elects 2 representatives and may have an alternate representative who votes when one of the representatives is absent from a meeting

  • Applications will be accepted during the month of December with the cut-off for applications being at the close of the January 7, 2026 CCAC meeting.

  • COMPLETED FORMS may be submitted to the President (Carol Kramer) or Vice President (Megan Tewell) or mailed to the CCAC Election Committee, P.O. Box 781, Cayucos, CA 93430

April's CCAC Meeting & Presidential Election will be Wednesday, April 2 @ 7:00 pm - HYBRID

This year we will be electing a new President for our Council.  President's are elected for one year terms.  We will also be electing a Vice President and Treasurer and the Secretary will be appointed by the new President.

This meeting will be John Carsel's last meeting as President of the Cayucos Citizens' Advisory Council.  He has been a member of the Council for the past 22 years and has been the President of the Council for the last 16 years.    His knowledge and passion are going to be difficult to replace.  He has fought hard to keep Cayucos "The Classic California Beach Town."  Please plan to attend and let John know that you appreciate all of his years of service.
